Star Wars Night with the T-Birds
Come one, come all

It is time for the next big event with the Seattle Thunderbirds: Star Wars Night!  On Tuesday, December 15, may the force be with you. Join the T-Birds at the ShoWare Center from 5:00 to 10:00 PM two days before the big premiere of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens for the charity event of the season.

This year’s charity is the Forgotten Children’s Fund and the team will be collecting clothing and toys for local kids at the event. The Forgotten Children’s Fund serves children who are experiencing hardship due to economic loss, disabilities, illnesses or injuries and helps provide them with seasonal cheer they may not experience otherwise.

In addition to the night’s fun, fans can look forward to scoring Twofer Tuesday tickets. Buy one, get one free! You will want to see the themed jerseys that will be raffled off for the game, the fun festivities and all of the Star Wars themed events. Have a friend who loves Star Wars but not hockey, or vice versa? It’s really the perfect night for you both to enjoy a game. The Giants turned into Stormtroopers during their Star Wars Night—think the Birds will do the same, or maybe even something more? You’ll have to go to find out.

The Western Hockey League has not had a Star Wars night in over a decade and this will not be an event to be missed. Joining in at Star Wars Night? Share the event with friends on Facebook so they can join with you. Click here to order tickets. The Twofer deal is already incorporated and will be revealed in your cart after you purchase your tickets. On other days, single tickets range from $40 for club seats, $30 for glass, $24 for premium seats and $16 for North Zone tickets. Special prices for Star Wars Night include $8 for the North Zone area, $12 for premium seats, South Zone and lower end tickets, $15 for glass tickets, $20 for club seats and $30 for a suite.

Can’t make it to the event? You can still volunteer for the Forgotten Children’s Fund. You can volunteer to help wrap presents, drop off unwrapped gifts (they have to check each present so leave the gift wrap at home!), work as a desk greeter, help screen families that may qualify for the service, load trucks, deliver gifts or even work as Santa Clause.
