The 2016 schedule is underway with the Sounders currently playing some exhibition matches in preparation for the 2016 season. The Rave offer plenty of soccer superstars to behold and have added some exciting players as well...

* Highlighting the list is International soccer superstar Obafemi Martins. Martins lit up the soccer world in 2015 posting 15 goals in 21 games played. He also added 6 assist while logging 1800+ mins on the field. Martins play even earned him nomination for an ESPY award for the best MLS player in 2015.

Other notables from 2015:

Clint Dempsey- 10 goals. 

- Dempsey also led the team in assists with 10

Stefan Frei returns to goalkeep after an impressive 2015 campaign. Frei saved 111 of the 144 shots he faced while posting 10 shutouts.

Let's not leave out the scrapper that gives the Sounders an edge...Osvaldo Alonso will bring with him a team leading 7 yellow cards and 45 total fouls. 

Also keep an eye out for the 7th homegrown player in Sounders history Jordan Morris. He is one of, if not, the top American prospects. The Rave Green hope to get a lot of success from Morris given the GREEN they gave up to sign him. 

The season can not come fast enough and is right around the corner. Coach Sigi Schmid has to be excited to get these guys on the field, and Sounders fan's can rest easy knowing the team has a high ceiling for success.
