Party with the T-Birds
Come celebrate game 5

The excitement is building as the Seattle Thunderbirds continue to take on the Everett Silvertips in the second round of playoff games. If you haven’t been to a playoff game, this weekend is your chance to catch game 5 after the Birds come home from facing the Tips at the Xfinity Arena in Everett during games 3 and 4. What makes the fifth game so special aside from its home game status, however, is that there’s going to be a big party before the game and everyone is invited.

It’s called the Party on the Plaza and it will take place at the ShoWare Center plaza. There is going to be all kinds of fun to be had by all ages, so you could bring a friend, a date, your family, whomever you like to enjoy the festivities. Music will be provided by all of your favorite radio stations, like 102.5 KZOK, 95.6 JACK FM and 94.1 KMPS. There will be ice cold drinks, snacks to purchase and lots of other Thunderbirds ready to cheer the team on as they play against the Silvertips.

The event begins at 5:00 PM so be sure to get there a little early for a good parking spot. There should be great weather this weekend so it will be a great day to party outside and celebrate your love of hockey, your Seattle spirit and the T-Birds. You can still get your tickets either online or at the box office. The box office is open Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays and Sundays at noon. Keep in mind that the box office is only open on Saturdays and Sundays when there are games.

If it comes to another game, the sixth will be held on Monday, April 18, at the Xfinity Arena at 7:05 PM. If there is a seventh game, it will be on Tuesday, April 19 at the ShoWare Center at 7:05 PM. Be sure to check for details about purchasing game tickets for Game 7 if we do end up going into extra games. If you are ready to #UnleashtheThunder, you can buy your tickets here. Don’t forget about the great group rates available if you are going with a bunch of friends or family members. If you order at least 10 tickets you can get them for just $20 each as opposed to the regular price of $28 per ticket. You’ll also have all of your fees waived with a group purchase, which is a nice perk.
