No Off Weeks in NFL
Bye week still as important as all the rest

Despite an off week for seattle, it is of the utmost importance.

Before heading into a strong divisional matchup against the Cardinals, the Seahawks could not have had a better time for the BYE week. Now…unfortunately, the Cardinals too will be on a bye and given a chance to rest up as well.

I am, kind of, glad this is the case… I really want to, heck NEED to, see just who we are as a team in 2015. We do not have to see Seattle rested at their healthiest vs. a beaten Arizona team. I.. WE Hawk fans need to see healthy v. healthy NFC West football, which is just what we will get .

Thus far we have seen just some glimpses of our former selves out there. The team surely is not offensively as good as last season, and statistically has been the worse offense Seattle has seen in the Wilson ERA.

The strong Arizona defense will provide the test needed for this offense who must finally spread things out a bit more and take some chances. Jimmy Graham, in particular must be sent out wide. He needs to get 10 looks a game if not more, and has been continually under-utilized.

The team will get a chance to heal up a bit to help this cause as they have been banged up a bit here and there, but overall have thankfully been healthy. Rawls and Lynch can hopefully catch their rest as they have both had some leg injuries sitting out many practices this season. Big names like Russell Okung, Michael Bennett, and Cliff Avril have all been banged up as well.

Arizona will also have time to heal up as well. High flying receiver John Brown has been nursing hamstring issues recently and Michael Floyd had some hand issues as well. Both were available last game, but will have time to possibly get to 100 percent now.

Lastly the match-up between the Rams visiting the Vikings will be big for the division as a whole. The Rams have shown to be pretty viable in the division also, and a STL and SEA win with an Arizona loss would really make things interesting in the WEST. Two weeks from now we will have a much clearer view of things to come in the division.
