Next Sounders Match Approaches
Where will you be on Saturday?

It has been a long, drawn out week already, but there are still three days to go until the next match for the Rave Green. Do you have Seattle Sounders tickets for this Saturday’s game? It will be against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC at the CenturyLink Field. The game starts at 7:00. You can get seats as low as $30 a pop in the 100 Level Seating. Club seats (with club access) are $71 per ticket and the family section is $43 per ticket. Remember that there is no alcohol allowed in this section. The 200 level seats also cost $48 and General Admission is just $39. Don’t forget that there are checkout fees and prices can change.

The word is that former USMNT forward Herculez Gomez was in camp with the Sounders on Monday. There have been no announcements yet as to whether or not he will be signing on with the team but most fans are not impressed—not because they are unimpressed with Gomez himself but because they are hoping for some strong midfielders to be picked up anytime soon. (Anytime… anytime now…)

Gomez is available because Toronto FC just let him go. He made a single goal in all of his appearances with the team last season, prompting them to seek out someone new. And now the Sounders are picking him up? Hey, it could be a good fit, but we all know that the Rave Green seems to still be scrambling to fill the void left by Obafemi Martins. To learn more about the World Cup veteran Gomez and what he may bring to the table, be sure to visit the Sounders website.

So what are your predictions for Saturday? How do you think the team will fare against Vancouver and do you think we will finally break this series of losses? We can all only hope, but many fans are banking on Dempsey to “carry the team” on his shoulders this weekend. As unfair as it is to 1. expect that much out of Dempsey alone and 2. to cast aside the entire team like that, there may be at least a bit of truth in that sentiment. We all know the Sounders do better with Dempsey at the helm and there’s no use in denying it—but how will he do with the current formation this weekend, not to mention with the current roster?
