Moss alongside a lousy OL (2)

Q.  If Okung is back?

A.  The first game that Okung and Lynch appeared, that was Chicago, wasn't it?

We said then, that next time Okung got hurt, we'd find out how much of the offense was due to the LT and how much due to the RB.

Turned out 80-90% of it was due to the LT.

Okung returns this week, probably so does the entire Seahawk ballclub.  Older I get, more I realize that the left tackle is the single most important position on the field, not far behind quarterback.

Get Okung back, or get some X's and O's to the problem, and Moss can be a game-changer for you.

.

Q.  Do you figure the Seahawks would pick Moss up?  Or could pick him up?  Or should pick him up?

A.  Carroll's silence on the matter confirms the Seahawks' interest.

This is about 5 degrees off subject, but a few weeks ago, the soccer player who is arguably #1 in the world -- well, #1 in the Premiership, anyhow -- announced that he would be leaving the #1 sports franchise in the world.  At least, Manchester United is supposed to be the most valuable franchise, about $1.5 billion worth.

My own team is the 3rd-best in the premiership, and everybody immediately converged on Arsene Wenger.  Is Arsenal going to make a bid for Wayne Rooney?  Wow!  Wouldn't THAT be something!

...............

The Arsenal boss had no intention whatsoever of paying for Rooney.

So what do you think he said?  Do you think he said, "We'll see?"  Or "no comment"?  Or "He's still under contract with Man U?"

Wenger said, we're absolutely not interested in Rooney, so stop asking.

Why?  He wasn't going to pony up, and he wanted the talk to stop.  You've seen this drill with the Mariners a few times...

Ya, I think Carroll would grab Moss with both hands, so fast you wouldn't see his arms move.  Carroll's earlier interest in Vincent Jackson confirms how obvious it is to grab a guy like Moss off the waiver wire.

...............

Would be amazing to me, if Moss passed 15 teams on the waiver wire, or whatever.

But if he makes it to the Hawks?  You never saw a no-brainer like this one.  The Seahawks have 0.5 legit NFL receivers, and Moss would give them 1.5.  Maybe 2.5, if Moss is a 2x bonus...
