I've already advocated that our best prospect bats skip High Desert as I think it (using your word) "derails" them for a while. Just roll 'em down the road the 548.7 miles from Clinton, Iowa to Jackson, Tennessee, please. After reading this, I'm going to start advocating that we do it with our best arm prospects, too.

If you’ve been paying attention to the math (which I doubt), you would have figured out that there are five starting pitchers left to fill our quota of “34 More” (which is now 35, if you care, since I was briefly mistakenly under the impression thatChance Ruffin had been released, when, in fact, he had just been outrighted off the 40-man roster to the Tacoma roster, and, as a result, added an extra player to the list who turned out to be unnecessary, but, once I added him I decided not to take him off).
