We had fun with this last year, so I'm brining it back on this royal occasion.

Andrew Carraway (Watch List) has been known for a low walk rate, but not Tuesday.  Funny thing, since he actually was working on a no-hitter: 5.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 5 BB, 2 K.

Then Josh Kinney came in and gave up six earned runs in 0.2 IP.

Nate Tenbrink (26intheMix) got his ninth homer.

AA -- Jackson 8, Chattanooga 0  -- Box

As noted in the News post, Daniel Paolini (Talk40 #26) moved up to AA, but he went 0-for-5 in his debut.  He was at DH.

Our man Ji-Man Choi (Talk40 #19) was better, getting his 14th overall home run (7th at AA), plus two singles. 

James Gilheeney had a strong start: 5.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K.  Carson Smith (Talk40 #13) brought it home with a scoreless 9th and two strikeouts.

High-A -- Lake Elsinore 3, High Desert 2 -- Box

As noted in News, Steven Proscia (26intheMix) returned to the Cal League.  He played first and delivered an RBI double.

Short Season-A -- Everett 3, Tri-City 2 -- Box

What?  You are no longer the heir to an Empire upon which the sun never sets?  Darn.  Not even Hong Kong anymore?  Bummer.  Cheer yourself up with an Aqua Sox foam frog hand!  Only $5!  Will it replace the Indian subcontinent?  No.  But close.

D.J. Peterson may be en route to Clinton to collect his Louie plush toy, but he got in one more game in front of a surely foam-frog-hand wearing home crowd in Everett.  He got two hits, wrist contusion and all, but the star was "big little bro'" Justin Seager, who had his third home run, and also a double.

When Peterson went out with his wrist issue the other night, it was J-Seags who took over at third, so maybe we'll see more of the family dynasty at the hot corner with D.J.'s promotion.  Most folks expect Justin to be limited to first, however.

Rookie -- Pulaski 6, Princeton 1 -- Box

Let's see.  Keys to the kingdom.  The lockbox with the Crown Jewels.  The backdoor to the Tower of London.  Probably a couple of Jags.  Or a fleet.  Gotta tons of princely keys to keep track of.  So a Pulaski Mariners key chain would have to come in handy for just $5.

Tyler Smith got his first pro home run, and Kristian Brito (Watch List) got a homer and two doubles.

Take note: Brito in July ... .317/.338/.556 with 9 doubles and 2 HR in 15 games.

AZL Rookie -- Mariners 11, Angels 9 [12 innings] -- Box

I don't know what they sell at the complex league games, but no online store.

Daniel Missaki got his second pro outing, and only went 1.0 IP with 4 ER.

And quite the performance from outfielder Cory Scammell.  The 19-year-old had a triple, two singles and two walks, for five times on base in six trips.

Edwin Diaz (Talk40 #36) looks to keep his hot streak alive, and Brandon Maurer (Talk40 #9) is scheduled for Tacoma.
