Game 38 + Minors Rewind
Nothing finer than Felix being Felix-y and the Carolina boys hitting (and others)

 

  • Felix had them whiffing at his changeup, and had his command.  The four earned runs and the ejection were sideshows.

 

  • Offense!  ISO is on the rise, and the Carolina crew of Ackley, Seager and Smoak (the latter from south of the line) is a big part.

 

  • With a (mostly walk-free) assist from Romero and Zunino.

 

  • But still no Cano in the ISO column.

 

  • The Rainiers added veteran Mike MacDougal and played in a dust storm, then suffered a bad outing from Erasmo Ramirez.

 

  • And Victor Sanchez was not on vector in his return from the DL.

He doesn't walk. It should improve some.
But if he can bash (a reasonable "if") we can overlook the lack of walks, even when they improve a bit.
