One thing that I really like a out Lloyd so far is that he seems to be focused on what his players can do as opposed to what they can't do. A guy like Avery could be a nice weapon to have. He won't lock down an OF spot for 140 games but a guy that can come in late in a game to run for one of the Goliaths the team has and/or serve as a defensive replacement for the same could be nice.
