I am out right now and sorry, my iPhone is not having much luck with the interface.

Right now it looks like da Bums can (in effect) get their oft-rumored "Lobby Shout Box" if they go down to > Active Now > Active Conversations and click the silver bar [Comment permalink]. Two newsy shouts on it :- )
It will also often default you to the Permalink Shout Box on a new window, I think, especially if you close and open your browser.
Still workin' it, but seems to provide a functional vintage 2016 Shout Box ...
....
Don't confuse 'comment Permalink' (the desired destination) with 'Lobby Shout Box' (the name of this nested article, because of its title!)
