NYC Bands Together to Support Charlie Hebdo

Most of you out there have likely heard of the horrible attacks that took place in France this last week. Many died because they had the courage to say what was on their minds, despite the fact that the people they were criticizing are known for violent retaliation. A second tragedy occurred when police found the gunmen responsible and were forced into a shootout. Now, the people of New York are joining the people of France in solidarity.

For decades, Philip K. Dick delivered unto the world numerous science fiction stories rife with philosophical, political and metaphysical themes, revolutionizing the genre by examining humanity through a dystopian lens darkened by altered states and totalitarian governments. Through his writing, he changed the way we look at ourselves, each other and the world in which we all live. In fact, it's often been said that he is one of our most prolific and important storytellers. Period.
