Will Woodson become a Bronco?

While starting at the University of Michigan, Charles Woodson became one of the first and only primarily defensive players to win the Heisman Trophy. This, of course, was a huge feat. To get that Heisman Trophy award, he beat out second-placer Peyton Manning by 282 votes. Now, after a successful run with the Green Bay Packers, Charles Woodson finds himself as a coveted free agent looking for a suitor. Will Woodson end up playing on the same team as the player he beat out so many years ago to become the Heisman Trophy winner?

What to eat after a workout

I'm at the very bottom rung of the exercise ladder, so I find myself doing a lot of research about basic questions. Questions like, should I eat something after a workout? When? How much? And what?

The array of answers is dizzying. There are several reasons why what you eat after a workout is important. After exercise, your body wants to replenish its energy supply (carbs) and build muscle (protein). I have heard that the hour after a workout is the critical period for building muscle, but I don't know about that.

A life lesson from John Rambo

The first two movies featuring Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo –First Blood and Rambo: First Blood Part II offer up not only action-paced yarns but also a life lesson.

Come again: A life lesson from Rambo movies?! You read that correctly. And the lesson is nothing superficial, either. For John Rambo is more than just an action hero: He is a man haunted by personal demons.   The life lesson of the first two films stems from how he deals with them.

Boring name, but exciting implications

Ask any fan of college sports about the NCAA Football system, and you know what they’ll tell you? For lack of euphemism, they’ll tell you BCS bowl system is a crock of shit. While this may be harsh, unless your team is in one of the super conferences or has an incredible season that involves destroying a big market team, there is a very small chance they’ll play for a championship, deserving or not. While it has been an uphill battle to get the NCAA to look into a playoff system (the issue was so big it even made it to U.S. congress), prayers of the fateful fan may have been answered.
