Right - the #Men played "too dumb to find extra ice," and the wo#Men played "sure, I will help you with the #Food," and everyone loses. #Erika_B #Single

I think part of the problem is that #Men have an easier time saying "no" when someone tries to assign them dumb slogging busywork. #Erika_B #Single

In my experience, wo#Men perpetuate this kind of thing at least as much as #Men do. #Villon #Single

I've had that kind of thing in the workplace: wo#Men HAVE to do all the repetitive admin/organizing work because #Men will just not pay attention to all the details and they'll screw everything up. So wo#Men do the thankless slogging stuff and #Men do the more visible interesting stuff. Funny how it works out that way. Over and over and over again. #Villon #Single

It's a lot like that. And perhaps not coincidentally, #Men are more likely to be extroverts than wo#Men. #Erika_B #Single

I agree. But it also feels a bit like the gendered argu#Ments; wo#Men have to step up and take care of things because #Men are just too stupid. It's patronizing in a way that maintains the inequality. #Villon #Single

And the variety of clothes marketed at #Men is vastly smaller than those marketed at wo#Men. #Single #takingnotes
