Tasty Tuesday: ‘Smores cake!

Have you ever heard of a ‘smores cake? Neither have I, until today. My husband loves chocolate éclair cakes, so I’m betting this is very similar—if not gooier and even tastier! I love how the marshmallows on top of the cake are burned, too—to me, it’s not a ‘smore unless part of it has been roasted! That’s why I love the Steak N Shake campfire ‘smore flavor much more than the typical marshmallow taste of a shake that claims to be a ‘smores shake! Too bad it’s only around once a year.

Tasty Tidbits: Southern style tea

Even though I’m from Missouri, my family has always identified more with being Southern than Midwestern. In fact, I don’t think I even heard the term “Midwestern” until high school! We live south of St. Louis, and about an hour from where I am from, you start to hear Southern accents. My college town? Lots of Southern accents. So I grew up on sweet tea.
