The list would not be complete without the #New_York Rangers coming in at number 2! They are a #New_York institution, much like the Yankees are, their net worth is $1.1 billion.

I read some of the fan comments from Gardner/Paxton rumor on the Yankees site, and it's typical #New_York. Many were downplaying Paxton's value and overestimating Gardner as an All-Star on a team-friendly contract. It he's such an All-Star, why do they want to replace him? Gardner is a good but not great starting OF'er who brings some diminishing speed and some OBP, but any sock he has in Yankee Stadium will be significantly diminished in Safeco, and at 32 I'm not sure I'd bank on him to play an outstanding CF. That makes him a corner OFer.

Head coach of the #Washington Capitals, Barry Trotz, has pointed out that the #New_York Rangers used every tactic they could to delay the game without actually doing anything that would warrant a penalty. Players know that they can "have equipment problems" that must be fixed to help them have a little extra time to rest before play resumes. They will also do this to help slow down the opposition when the opposition goes on the offensive. It is a good tactic because the momentum of the previous rush is then lost.

What a moment for David Wright, a 2-run shot in the first inning in #New_York. This is a great Series.
