Once again, the giant oil company British Petroleum Co., Ltd. is trying to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. The crime they’re being hit for, in case you haven’t heard, is the 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil spill - the worst oil spill in U.S. history. They've settled their damages suit but now that the money is trickling out to victims, they’re crying foul and trying to stop as many of the payments as they can.
Until fairly recently, horse slaughter was common in America. Although at the time, the horsemeat trade was limited mainly to pet food manufacture, since Americans (unlike people in most other countries) have never really taken to eating horsemeat.
America is, without question, a two-party political system. We have the Democrats and the Republicans and every election cycle, you spend your time finding out what each side says that is a little different and pick your poison. Most people are vaguely aware of "third" parties, but often consider that voting for a third party candidate is the equivalent of throwing away a vote.

Out for a neighborhood stroll, a yarn covered stop sign made me halt in my tracks and launched me into the secretive and rebellious world of “yarn bombing.” Most yarn projects in my life have sadly been ill-fitting Christmas sweaters from Grandma or potholder craft projects. If there are two groups that definitely don’t get along, it’s the government and hackers. Hackers are notorious for causing all sorts of problems and, perhaps most importantly, making attacks against those in power who think that they’re far beyond the reach of retribution.
