Why not (1) join the baseball discussion, (2) go play some basketball, (3) go meet a girl, (4) read a book, or (5) do something else?

Shooting spitwads is fine for very young children, but if a 10th-grader is still doing it?

Most pre-teens have realized that drawing (a little) attention is not the same thing as mattering.

Why not join the discussion before we're given the procedures for locking out your computer.

I would obviously be reluctant to give up Smoak but it wouldn't be out of the question. This is a franchise that has won 1 playoff game in their history and has a legit chance at the brass ring with Lee and their offense.  In fact, if I am Texas I am interested in a Lee/Branyan for Smoak+++ deal to win it THIS YEAR.  Don't forget they also have Davis who is a legit 1B prospect in his own right, although not the uberprospect Smoak is.  Heck, the way they are struggling at C you could throw in Bard or Johnson as well.

Think about it.  Branyan would provide more than they will get out of Smoak this year and probably next: He is paid for this year by CLE; and they have another prospect waiting in the wings working out the kinks for the next year in Davis.

The question would be what else would come over in the deal to make it all work out.  Heck, Seattle could even take Harden back in a deal to help Texas out with $.

Will it happen?  Probably not.  But I really don't think it is a far fetched idea at all.
